E+L | Devil's Glen Engagement Shoot

This was such a fun photo shoot, the weather hadn't yet turned cold, the sun was out and the trees still held on to their autumn colours, perfect for a photos!

Eavan and Laura are such a lovely couple, really fun and chilled out, also as we share a mutual love of cheesy 80's films, it made the hike all the more enjoyable. We walked the loop walk to the waterfall in Devil's Glen Woods which I would highly recommend, taking in all the wood sculptures and stone plaques along the way. These plaques made for a romantic and almost surreal narrative to our walk that I think really added to the photos as a series.

The last few photos of the day were an experiment that I'm really pleased with. As soon as I heard that we were going to the woods, I had this idea of playing with a certain photographic technique using double exposures to create a unique image. I really appreciate Laura and Eavan's patience as they had no clue what I was doing but it really paid off.
