Ú+R | LOTR Inspired Wicklow Escape Wedding

This LOTR Inspired Wicklow Escape wedding will always hold a very special place in my heart, not only because of the beautifully subtle hints of Tolkein throughout the day but because Úna & Rafael's wedding just had the most unique atmosphere.

A venue always lends itself to a specific vibe and the Wicklow Escape was absolute perfection, but really it's the people that make a wedding day special. Úna, Rafael and all of their guests brought their own fun, relaxed, laughter filled personalities to the day and made it really unforgettable.

I loved the sounds of the flute and harp in this beautiful open space amongst the Entish trees where they had their ceremony. Úna's stunning etherial gown was honestly breathtaking, and Rafael looked sharp as hell in his green tweed suit. Then photos amongst the gardens and woodland whilst a watercolourist paints portraits of the guests as favours, followed by traditional Irish stories told in place of speeches (I love this idea, everyone should do it) and ending with a dance party worthy of the Shire.

Thank you so much Rafael and Úna for putting your faith in me as your photographer and for making me feel like one of the gang on the day, I wish we could do it all again!
