Helen and Steve got married in the gorgeous Avon Rí in Co.Wicklow on the 1st of July this year, which so happened to be the wedding anniversary of Helens parents. Helen and Steve (or Stanto as he's known) were teenage sweethearts and had their first kiss in Belgrave Square, Rathmines in 2002 and have been inseparable ever since. I know this because I was there that day, but I never knew that someday I would have the pleasure of photographing their wedding!
All the personal details that Helen, Stanto and their family and friends put together for the big day made it 100% unique. From the rainbow roses adorned with charms of their loved ones made by their friend Lisa, the beautiful invitations and CDs as favours, the stunning Hello Kitty cake topper handmade by their friend Kate which had the groom (Dear Stanto) wearing a Runnin' Riot back-patch in commemoration of their friend Colin Riot who passed away in 2014 to the gorgeous hand wedding rings handcrafted by the couple themselves.
They had an awesome gig at the drinks reception featuring Droppin' Bombs and the groom playing drums in The Dubtones plus a rockin' dance party with the band Prom Night and a DJ set by their friend Thomas.
Not to mention the big surprise of the day as Helens parents' along with her friend Raychel, managed to organise a card of congratulations from Damien Dempsey!
So much effort was made by everyone to make this a truly unforgettable day for this wonderful couple, and I hope their lives together are filled with as much laughter and tears of joy as they had on their special day.
